I don't know if I'd want to go to a hang that allowed the likes of me:-)

Now that the reservations are taken care of, on to the important stuff.
4th Annual Winter Hang Coup de grāce de grub.
We are going to go back to the basics this year with a twist. Normally when I go hiking with my friends, we all try to bring that one item that makes everyone drool around the fire. Normally you just do something for yourself so the others are jealous. But since everyone else will be voting, try to make enough for everyone to try.
Rules: Can be made Friday or Saturday. Voting will be held after dinner on Saturday and the winner will be announced at the fire Saturday night.
New Rule: Has to be made at camp. Since we normally do this while hiking, we carry all the ingredients with us until it's time to pull it out. So this year I'm thinking we apply this rule to make it more interesting. Example- If you are making a soup, you can bring everything chopped up but must assemble it on site. No precooking.
I know this makes it a little tougher for some dishes to be made, but we want a challenge.
Winner will get their name added to the apron and a trophy of some type. I have not ordered it yet, so it's still a mystery to me.
Good luck. Lets see how creative people get.

There are now individual fire rings at each site now so our huge bonfire will be a little smaller this year. The group A site does have a larger ring than the other sites so we will be seeing how much wood can a fire ring hold if a fire ring could hold wood.
