    guys,
I just can't get sorted out to get up there in less than a week. I wanted to make it up for a hang while the colors were excellent- have fun.

Is this still on for this up coming weekend? I've let my girlfriend have a couple of "Girls weekends", so she's in debt to me. :-) I wouldn't be able to head out until Friday after work, which would put it to getting pretty dark by the time I got anywhere, and I'd have to collect a bit of gear Friday before heading out anyway.

The weather this weekend looks to be decent so far, but here it's more of a guessing game than anywhere else I've ever lived.

I live in Duluth, so pretty much any part of the trail south of Gooseberry is close enough for me to make it Friday early evening. Any further north than that and I'd probably hold out till early saturday morning, as hiking in and setting up in the dark is not so much fun.

My wife and I were talking about getting our packs (and hammocks) out this weekend but not sure we can do an overnight as we're hosting a dinner get together on Sunday. I'll check back later in the week and see where this thread ends up.

Has a section been decided? I'm already had plans but I'm trying to break them! I don't think I could get up there until after work Friday.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning. Not sure where I am going. If you guys go I'll check here and see where you are going to be and maybe stop by. I may only be going Thursday and Friday.

    Hmmmmm

Looks like a fizzle. Guess I'll wait until mid-week so I can bring the grandson along. Probably less traffic on the trail then too. Who knows...... maybe I'll run into Shug !!!! WOOOOO BUDDY!! Happy trails everyone.

sorry for the late update everyone. There are still some of us going up, but the group going decided to keep it smaller. Happy Hiking, and sorry if I didn't personally PM you about this earlier.
