How many hangers out there actually follow the 18" rule? I personally always feel a little more comfortable 24"-36" off the ground. Just my 2 cents.
How many hangers out there actually follow the 18" rule? I personally always feel a little more comfortable 24"-36" off the ground. Just my 2 cents.
I've hung everywhere from about 2" to nearly 5 feet, depending on the situation.
What 18" rule?
Most of us live by "don't hang higher than your willing to fall."
Chair-ish sort of height off the ground works so you can put your shoes on while sitting comfortably but it's by no means any sort of rule.

Hadn't heard that rule. If it is a rule, I break it consistently. Tall guy who doesn't like to get too low. It is an elevated perspective, after all.
