Very nice design, Metavo! Especially like the center-side extensions for stowing gear beside the hammock.

Gargoyle, this design reminds me of your Ogee and Mega-Ogee tarps!

    Thanks for positive feedback.
What more I look this that more I love it. Moving inside the tarp is simple, there's lots and lots of room and a place to sit in (hammock of course ). My 9 ft hammock fits in there perfectly, 10 feet shouldn't be a problem either, theoretically it should hold 11 ft hammock also.
If I want to use it as a tent, it should hold 3-4 bodies with ease. That's a lot for something that weighs 500 grams!
Tried to make some pictures of it with hammock, sorry for poor picture quality, didn't find my real camera this time.
I agree that it looks little bit like Ogee, but by design it's something else entirely.

Little offtopic but here's what I use with temperatures over 0 degrees Celsius:

First, my hammock (self made, custom design, will share desings when i'm 100% sure it's safe. Comfy as hell)
    Second, Tarp Tentoria
Third, 0.5 liters of alcohol (if needed)
Fourth, inflatable mat (soon will be replaced by down UQ)
    Fifth, Top quilt (self made)
Whole weight 1,6 kg (3.53 lbs) plus some extra cordage for "who-knows" scenarios.

    Update:
Made another one, this time to match my hammock better. Result is 20 cm-s longer tarp than my hammock and it weighs 350 grams (12.35 oz)
    Haven't tested it yet though.

First of all, sorry I removed old photos, so here's a pic of old one:

    Secondly:
    Tentoria is back!
    Bigger! Longer! Taller!
Let's say hello to a beta version 2.0

During next phase I'll add some structure and possibility to use innertent.

Looks cool. I'm planning a tarp based on DD's 3x3 design, with multiple tie outs for ground and hammock camping versatility. My hammock is 11'9 (3.3 m) so I may have to go bigger than 3x3 unless I pitch it diamond style.

How long is you second tarp? How much coverage do you have between the end of the hammock and edge of the tarp?

    0.4 meters on both sides
It sure is roomy, this morning I cooked my meal under it, but it's impossible to put up with 20 m/s sidewind, which I tried today. Had to put it up with one side toward the wind.

Ok so I will need to factor in around 0.4 - 0.3 M each side for my DIY tarp, to ensure my 3.3 M hammock is fully covered... that means around 4.1 M! :O

    How long is your tarp?

How you get 4,1 m? Maybe I understood wrong, ridgeline of it is 3.6 meters, my hammock's ridgeline is 2.8 m.
PS. Winds up to 10 m/s is fine, but 20 m/s sidewind in open beach is too much work to enjoy the moments.

    Tarp Tentoria

My hammock is 3.3 metres when set up, plus 0.8 metres (40cm coverage each side of hammock) equals 4.1 metres for length of tarp.

Yeah, choosing a sheltered campsite is a good move if it's available. Especially on the coast.
