Looks like overnight temps in the mid to high 50's, applying the -10 degree correction for the woods.

Rain chance 10 to 20 %. Looking pretty good.

Someone bring tooth picks or skewers for bacon date wraps. I don't have any

Ok folks, we are now officially at the night before!

    Just as a reminder
    • it is $2/person/day
    • pay at the iron ranger next to the information kiosk (make sure you look really well for envelopes in the lower openings because sometimes they aren't easy to see)
    • keep the tear off portion and hang it off of your rearview mirror so that law enforcement knows that you have paid
    • you can park in the parking spots near the kiosk or continue a couple hundred feet down Rucks Dairy rd (not School bus) and park (neatly) in the cleared area across from the entrance to the campground (not where we'll be camping)
    • bug spray, bug spray, bug spray and earplugs so that you can sleep

I'll probably meet my buddy olddog at about 11 and hike out with him on Friday. I'll see you all there!

The Sherpa is packed, the food bag loaded, just a few more items to put in the pack and I'm ready. Oh so ready! Who all will be coming in around noon?

I will target 11:00am Friday for arrival. I am almost ready to go, I still need to pack tonight. It seems to me, we are going to have a cool weekend with not a whole lot of sun to deal with. It could rain every night from looking over the dew point and predicted lows. I can't wait to get out there.

This time tomorrow night I'll be sitting around the fire with a good bourbon, a bowl of good tobacco and a bunch of good friends. Life is good.

Well, I did not sleep much last weekend. So, I do not know if we will join everyone. I will talk over with patches in the morning. The forecast is a bit cooler then last weekend so the mosquitoes maybe less then last weekend. I do think that I left my black Crocs out there so if you find them by the picnic table save them for me. I will let you know early tomorrow morning what we are planning to do.
