I've got a tarp project coming up so have been practicing. I'm going to be using a lot of the tips you posted on the DIYGEAR tarp.

I second this motion after finishing my first UQ. But more than anything do i hate roll hemming no-see-um onto sil-nylon. Really makes you wanna hit something when it goes wrong and you gotta rip the whole thing out.

sewing no-see-um makes even my head wanna explode.
Still haven't found a good way to measure and correctly sew it to the hammock's body. All my works include trial and error method.
Still, 3 projects have ended up perfectly (in the end).

If you're having trouble roll hemming sil to noseeum, take it one step at a time.

Straight stitch the two together a 1/4" in from the edge, then roll the hem.

Also, try rolling just the first couple of inches, get it in the machine with the presser foot down and the needle down and then roll the next section, maybe 6" or so. I do from the needle/presser foot to the edge of my machine table and hold it tight over the edge of the table. Run to within a couple of inched of what's folded and then do the next section. If you're trying to do too long a run so that you don't have to stop and start, you'll be continually frustrated.
