Times running out on the Nub'e kickstarter

Love it or hate it ( personally I love it, I'm a backer) you have to admit the nub'e shelter system has had a heck of a kickstarter run. Their goal was for 30,00 dollars and they got there in about 10 days, now they are at over 140,000 dollars! They have been pretty good about stretch goals as well.
    The current add ons are
They added a color choice from gray and orange to GREEN!
There will be a small kickstarter patch sewn on to all backers nub'e
You can have them embroider whatever you want on the included hammock for free
They have a optional waterproof liner for the bottom if you ever have to go to ground.
And (as of writing this) they are about 8,000 dollars away from a very cool stretch goal of a attachable winter sock.

I would love to have this thing with Clark nx250 and a tea candle lanturn out in the frozen wasteland. I bet you could go down to the negative tens with out a problem
There are less then 8 hours left if anyone wants to check it out

    But what about porch mode

Seriously though, it looks neat and is fairly unique. I am just too darn happy with my wilderness logics tarp to want this.

I too have ordered the Nube' with the winter package. Been in love with this since I first saw it. Can't wait to hang in it.

Thanks for the heads-up, I hadn't seen this!

Definately pros & cons, but I like the idea and applaud their efforts in thinking outside the box. Will be anxiously awaiting some real reviews...

Doesn't it seem a bit expensive though?

You can still order the nube and the hammock at Sierra Madre. They are still offering each for the same price.

Thanks, but No thanks! I don't see the appeal(unless you want it for the novelty of it). It costs too much and there are much better options already available.
