    Pad Recommendation for BB

I just ordered a double layer BB. I have a thermarest Z-lite, which I am pretty fond of as far as comfort and weight. However, I am a fairly active sleeper and think that this will be too small for me to use in my BB. Which pads seem to fit the best width wise that are fairly light in weight and fairly warm? Do I even need a pad with the double layer? Thanks

The temps were talking about make a difference on which pad...
Width wise, IMO, 25" is a minimun. Gossamer pad are very good for weight Vs wamth..check out this thread

You say you're an active sleeper. Is this on the ground or in the air? I was an incredibly active sleeper before I started hanging. Now, I'm pretty much a log. I wake-up with the TV remote still on my chest all the time. So IF you are a new hanger, you might find that you don't move around as much as you used to and the pad will probably work fine. If, OTOH, you are a seasoned hanger and still flop around a lot....just forget you read any of the above.

There are a few providers of class cell foam on line you can order in a variety of lengths and widths as well as thickness. I have 1/8 for summer and 3/8 for rest of year. Cost each about 20.00 and you can cut to fit! Example http://www.foambymail.com/Merchant2/...vc?Screen=BASK
Very wide and has great uses such as cosi insulators, etc, enjoy!!!
