    Fiery Gizzard Trail In Tenn.

Taking the scouts on an over night on the trail this week end. Satta-Hanga will be going as well, as he is one of my Asst. Scoutmasters and right hand man (thanks Brett!) Going to hike to Ravens Point and spend the day, then hike out the next morning to Foster Falls. No agenda or training this trip, just getting out and enjoying our hike and the trail...well maybe some hammock pointers.

No tents, everyone is hanging this trip.
Been looking forward to this trip for awhile.

BamaFan, just so you know, you can have fires at the Ravens Point campsite now

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

I will not be there but one of UQ's will be. Hate it when they go hiking without me. Good luck with the rock hopping

I didn't know this, I was preparing for no campfires. Even the permit still says no campfires at ravens point.

Fire or no fire, it's going to be a great trip.

...and your quilt had a wonderful time Hangnout!!! Thanks a ton! I used it and my Leighlo on the kids, momma and I used my full length ones. I missed my Black Widow!

I saw a bunch of Scouts coming in Saturday morning!
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.
