Curious to know which lake you were one. At first I thought Follensby Clear Pond but I'm pretty sure I'm wrong. We canoe camp in the Dacks quite a bit. Beautiful photos.
Thanks... glad you enjoyed the photos. I brought a 5-wt. fly rod but never even strung it up... the water was so calm, all I wanted to do was paddle! The lake, attached ponds and river originally contained native Adirondack brook trout, but someone illegally introduced largemouth bass many years ago and the trout population is about gone, as far as I can tell. The place is overrun with stunted bass, although I did see some nice ones in the river on one sunny morning when I was wearing my polarized glasses and scouting for fish.
The photos are from Bog River, Hitchins Pond, Lows Lake, Grass Pond. I'm glad you enjoyed them. It's one of my favorite places in the park.
