my take on a camp chair

I was looking at all of the hammock chairs on YouTube, and in the forums here.
I made a couple of them off some of those videos. They took two trees sort of close together,
works OK, but what if you don't have two trees the right distance apart. I came up with a one tree camp chair, made of sport nylon. After some trial and error this is what I came up with.
I used some parts from some old crutches I had hope never to use again, to make an adjustable post to support one end.

Nice!!! I like the crutches idea, looks like it works great. Keep us updated on how it holds up for you.

I had the same idea for using old crutches to allow for the adjustability of the pole. Is that a pvc spreader you're using on the bottom of the chair?

Yes I tried several lengths settled on 6 in. Tried without but it created a ridge down the middle.

You should post a video or tutorial on how you did it and what all you used
