    Video: AT...Standing Indian

I just got back from spending 5 days on the Appalachian Trail with 2 friends of mine. We started in Winding Stairs Gap just outside of Franklin NC and went south to hwy 76 outside of Hiawassee Ga. Had a great trip, beautiful scenery, good weather, no injuries (that's a good thing out there). I didn't get as much footage as I would have liked but I hope you enjoy it.

Who was the sherpa that carried the dutch oven? That stretch is probably one of my favorite hikes. Good vid...

Thank you for sharing your trip with us. I was also very surprised when you showed the dutch oven.

Well I'll tell ya ... if you have to use store bought apple butter ... you can't go wrong with "White House" brand! Thanks for sharing the adventure!

.... and yeah who did tote that Dutch Oven in? Carrying a jar of apple butter is one thing but a Dutch Oven??? Lordy that's a feller that's serious about their biscuits!

WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.

That is a beautiful stretch of mountains through there. No Sherpa, just imagination. Thanks

It was a good time. I didn't get as much footage as I had intended and some was a little shaky but we enjoyed it. Thanks for watching Yoda!

I like "White House" myself, and I do love biscuits but You of all people know everything you see in a video may not really take place there even if it was lightweight cast iron. Rhubarb jelly would have gone good too! 42 miles with a 25 lb oven would be a real chore even for a youngster. As usual Hawk-eye, thanks a lot for watching!

If you could have smelled that buttermilk, it would curl your toes. Thanks for watching Trail Runner!
