    Straps with very little stretch?

What straps do you use that stretch the least? What material is the webbing/strap?
    Thank you!

I recommend Polyester or the Seat belt material no narrower than 1 inch.

Polyester is what most vendors here offer and would recommend. Just keep in mind that straps range in quality from great for hammock use to total crap even if they are polyester.

I use ENO Atlas straps. Very easily adjustable, quick setup. I initially made my own straps out of 1.5" polyester webbing from REI. They worked well, but were not as easy to adjust.

I use 1in tubular nylon webbing. This way I can thread it through my Dutch Buckles for a quick / adjustable set up.

Nylon stretches especially when wet but Polyester doesn't. I get mine from Arrowhead Equipment or Ready Strap. I think the ones at Ready Strap are the lightest of the two though. Both are excellent folks to order from and made in the USA.

Re: Straps with very little stretch?

The key to low stretch straps is the breaking strength. High BR straps stretch very little. I have straps ranging 1200lbs BS to 4000lbs BS. All of which are polyester. The 4000 and 3800 lbs BS straps barely stretch at all.
