Just for laughs...checking the weather in advance is not very useful!

I just got a job interview after work Thursday! Bad news, that puts me heading up on Friday. I was looking forward to hiking in the dark. I still could, but it would be more like 1AM. Also kinda depressed about the weather

    50/50 right now...I'm very flaky!

Yeah Im not crazy about the weather either but in for a penny in for a pound I guess . Just calls for light wintry mix on Saturday so not too horrible . Fri pretty decent and then Sun partly sunny I think . Should be worth it . Im a little worried about the hike but Ive been lightening up now with the warmer temps .

Actually Accuweather ( my new favorite weather forecaster ) does not predict any precipitation now .

    OUCH! Saturday looks much worse:

Rain before 4pm, then a chance of snow showers. High near 42. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Lots of sitting in the hammock under the tarp!

With the chance of warmer conditions and rain, I'm going to sit this one out. I don't really want to have to deal with trying to dry wet gear and be ready for the MN hang by Wed.

I think you mean "defrost" your wet gear.

A lot of factors are coming together to make me bail on this one too. Including backlogged jobs from being snowed in this week.

Man, I'm feeling the same way. I hate to bail since I've been pumped for this for sooo long.

My job interview Thursday night kinda messed up original plans. Plus, MLK day gives me 3 days off next weekend already so I'm tempted to get out then.

Still 50/50, but packed and ready to go...
