    New to Hammock Camping

Hi folks I've been researching hammock camping after watching Shug's youtubes (LOL) and the various other sites on the net and noted the enjoyment gained by hanging. I've been camping all my life but never knew about hammock camping until recently. I must say the information on this site is unbeleivable when you're starting out and looking for information pertaining to gear, set up, forums, etc. As a result I've made the big step and have purchased a HH ultra-light and a Hammock Gear under quilt. I'll be purchasing the top quilt on Black Friday. To date I've only hung in the back yard and have enjoyed it very much. I live in the Canadian Rockies and do a fair bit of backpacking and can't wait to hit the trails to experience the hammock life style. Good to be aboard with you floks.

Welcome from Arizona. Come on down and hang, when the snow gets to deep up there, and get knee deep in sunshine down here. lol.
