Chaz, you left too early. Katana caught you a big fat garder snake for diner on that hike I took as you were packing up. I carried it all the way back for you but you were gone.

That was such a nice time, and we will do it again. Just give me a shout when someone wants to plan another.
Thanks for hosting everyone Cindy! Another great hang, can't wait to do this one again. It was well worth the drive. I also wanted to say thanks for the lessons. I'll have my para-cord straps made in no time now

Here's a link to the photos I took on the trip-

Huge thanks to ~Reason~ and family, for hosting an awesome hang. The property is absolutely beautiful!

Random thoughts and notes about the hang in no particular order.....

waking up to views of falling water to the right and fall foliage to the left is pretty sweet.

really cool setup spots down by the river in a Hemlock grove I believe. That's where most of us were setup.

    Tasty donuts
    Tasty chili
    Tasty lasagna
    thanks to all the chefs!

pack of coyotes howling and yipping at the full moon while barreling down the hill on the opposite side of the river from where we all were setup, I was relieved to hear them turn as a pack a run upstream along the river away from us.

    full moon night hike

old school lean-to with a view

more moose tracks and scat than I've ever seen. But no moose.

Brambors widow maker experience. did everyone hear about this. I don't think it's been mentioned in the thread yet.

Really wish I got up and hiked with brambor on saturday, those pictures are awesome

Also wish I had explored the other side of the river a little bit too. oh well maybe next time.

I didn't take a single picture while I was there, but I took a couple on the way out. My GPS decided to take me on a "shortcut" on the way home that I didn't take on the way there, it was a fairly well traveled dirt road with some decent views . . .

Skypainter that's awesome congrats to your SIL. As well as thank him for his service from me.
