Looks real nice and lots of hammocks! Love those huge pine trees too!
Fall was alive with color in central Missouri.
The first night of the hang it rained lightly for most of the night, but we all managed to stay dry.
The morning found us in a pine grove with the smell of after rain freshness in the air.
That smell seemed to charge my expectations for that day.
The full moon was amazing,it created a well lit night on the second night.
This hike was my first long hike since the accident that screwed my back up so I was hopeful mixed with nervous at the start.
We held a good pace all day stopping to have a quick lunch in cedar creek.
when we hit the 15 mile mark my back and knees were competing with each other for being the thing that stopped the torture.
At the end of the day it felt good to relax by the fire.
Vicky joined us for the evening hang, its been a long time since ive met such a purely kind person.
My back is killing me this morning, but my spirit wants to go again.
It was a fun hang, hope to do it again.
