Pole Mod for the Tadpole?

That mod kit meant for the big daddy and old man winter. It's 2 poles, and costs $60. I only need 1 pole for the tadpole tarp. And really, I only need the pole. I've got continuous loops, and side pullouts, so I don't need the pole clips, etc.

So I'll be buying from questoutfitters.com.

I just need to figure out what length pole I need.

You could what someone did in the Superfly no-sew mini-pole mod thread: attach a pole with a prussik on one side and let the excess stick out.
If you don't have an extra tent pole lying around to try this, you probably need to add 3-4 inches to the distance between the pull-outs. For reference you could again look at the Superfly pole mod thread.
