    Pole Mod for the Tadpole?

I just got back from the MAHHA Fall hang, and got to see a variety of different setups. One which I am most interested in is the pole mod for the tarp.

I have a WL Tadpole tarp with side pullouts. In theory, I think a single pole mod would work with the Tadpole. Has anybody else had these thoughts? Has anybody else tried this mod with a Tadpole?

I've got a couple of 6" continuous loops to use to attach to either side pull and tent pole as pictured here. So all I should need would be the pole right?

I couldn't think of any reason it wouldn't work. I'll be ordering the pole ASAP then. Now, if only the door flaps didn't cost half the cost of the tarp itself.

I have a tadpole without side pulls. Any chance it would work with dutch pull outs? Or would I need to do some sewing?

It should work fine with the dutch pull out clips. Also, just FYI, if you ever decide you want them added, call Marty. He has added the pull outs after the fact for a friend of mine.

Thanks Caveman. I may just do that. Now that the doors are available this is becoming my year round tarp.

I hadn't seen the Dutch Tarp Pullouts before. Now I almost wish I didn't have the side pullouts installed when I got my Tadpole.

    Dutch thinks of everything!

That mod kit meant for the big daddy and old man winter. It's 2 poles, and costs $60. I only need 1 pole for the tadpole tarp. And really, I only need the pole. I've got continuous loops, and side pullouts, so I don't need the pole clips, etc.

So I'll be buying from questoutfitters.com.

I just need to figure out what length pole I need.
