    FS - Excalibur 9-Tray Dehydrator

Hi all, selling our Exclaibur 9-tray dehydrator. It's essentially brand new as it has only been used 3 times. It's in perfect working order and comes with the 2 books that were included when we bought it brand new. We have a smoke-free home.

Asking $200 obo and a local shopping experience please - I'm in the Brantford (Ontario) area.

For anyone considering buying a dehydrator, this is the "Cadillac" version. I burned through 3 or 4 of the round ones, one on it's first use, before making the leap to buy this model. I use if not just for dehydrating backpacking food, but to preserve extra food to use at home, make yogurt, and dry craft items. The temperature control and forced air across all the trays allow for the best results.

    Cheers!

Thanks, indeed it is. My wife researches everything to an extreme before making a purchase and this got her highest seal of approval also. I probably should have put a much better description up but figured folks around here know just how good this one is.

Only reason for selling is we're taking off on a round the world trip and we are selling everything! Unfortunately I can't list everything else we have to offer as it's not exactly camping related (even though we'll be doing lots of that coming up).

I have this same unit, and wanted to put in another positive testimonial for this machine. If you want to dehydrate your own camp food, this is the way to go. Yours is in much better condition than mine.

    OK-

This Excalibur is not moving quickly and you want to fund a trip. You might try posting this sale on some other sites, such as a food preservation/dehydrating site on Yahoo, or backpacking.net or backpackinglight.com in a used gear forum.

    Good Luck!

If I had the original packaging probably not that difficult. However against my usual practice, I no longer have the packaging and would be concerned about any damage while in transit. Also shipping something that size from Canada to the states would be quite cost prohibitive. I apologize for the delay in response.

I do have it listed locally but if it doesn't go soon I will check out those options. Thanks for the ideas.
