I'm in,driving up with Trail Medic from Indy,should get to parking lot by noon Thursday.

Does anyone know if the road is plowed past the parking area? Looking at the maps it runs about 1/4 mile north of the camping area. It would be nice to set up a cashe of the water jugs off the road. Shorter run to go and get them after we pulk the gear in.

Last year one could drive down a little ways.

Yes the road was plowed last year all the way past camp. You should be able to make a drop on the road parallel to the snowmobile trail. There are a few logging roads cut that connect the road and the trail if you don't want to bushwhack.

Just a safety reminder to everyone.

Make sure to carry a emergency contact number on you at all times, while on the hang, and don't forget to list any medications that you are taking, along with that contact number.

Not wishing anyone a bad experience, but it could make everything easier in case of an emergency.
