My biggest concern is that someone will try and scam them an ruin it for all the good people here..

I STRONGLY suggest that when this sort of thing happens that instead of telling everybody , you just show your gratitude by giving a good review and give the vendor your loyalty and maybe even place another order , refer them to everyone you know, but keep the details of how you got an entire order replaced at no charge to you to your self to help protect the vendor from scam artists!.
Just my opinion but i think we owe it to them to try our best to look out for them as they are allways looking out for us!

You've got a good point Zilla. I had not really thought of that. Obviously that is the LAST thing I would want someone to do because of my post.

Could not agree more Scott is a great guy. My order was running late on arriving and he emailed several times to check up on things until I got it. I have not had an issue with previous orders either Scott always processed and shipped right away so I new something was up. I think USPS misplaced it or something?

I had an order from Scott a few months ago. Scott is in Maine, I'm in NY.

The order went from him to South Carolina, where it went "Out for delivery"
The beelined for NY

2 day Priority took 6 days

I love scott, and hes earned a customer for life out of me, but I really wish he'd ship UPS as well

I just want to echo what everyone else is saying: you can't go wrong ordering from Scott at DIY Gear Supply. First rate products and excellent customer service.

I had an order of supplies from Questoutfitters.com get lost in the mail once. They replaced it free of charge also: another good supplier to deal with.

Also had a good experience with him. He found a flaw in the bug netting as he was packaging it and emailed me if 2 partial sizes were going to be adequate, since he had to cut the flaw out. The 2 sizes worked just fine for my purposes and he mailed it an hour later.
