    Got a Hiker Lite!

I have a Weight Weenie Micro, and a DL WWM - love them both. However, I began to wonder if the 1.1 oz WWM single layer was sturdy enough for someone like me who is rough on gear.

So I ordered a Hiker Lite - a 9.5 oz polyester taffeta hammock and I requested purple. Shane didn't have purple in stock so he sent me a teal. I couldn't be happier with this hammock. The fabric has zero stretch and feels luxurious against the skin. I'm not sure of the specs on the fabric but I think it's 1.7 or 1.9 oz polyester.

Since all my other hammocks are at least 60" wide, I was hesitant about the 55" width, but this hammock is very comfy.

You can't beat the price - I think it's the best value out there for a gathered-end hammock.
