I'm interested in a tarp with doors for winter. Are these two about the same thing?

I bought both an WB Edge and a WL Tadpole. I bought the Tadpole initially when I ordered a Snipe. Previously though, I had bought my hammocks from WB and liked the metal rings that he puts on his tarp. I've used the Tadpole but haven't had a chance to even pitch the Edge yet although I will try it out this weekend.

After I got both in, I compared the two. Both are excellent tarps and you can't go wrong with either. However, I think I like the material used for the Tadpole more. It seems to be a little bit thicker and doesn't stretch nearly as much as the material used for the Edge.

Has anyone noticed the difference in material? Which material do you think would be better? My first inclination would be that the Tadpole wouldn't stretch as much and thus keep a tighter pitch. However, on second thought, maybe the stretchiness of the Edge would keep a tighter pitch when wet.

Thanks for any replies.
