That's fantastic! A little boot UQ. Maybe a similar attachment as a standard UQ?

Actually the hammock is a Hennessy hyperlite and they all come with a ridgeline and organizer, and I make use of it for my headlamp same as you, love them.

    Very nice set up !!!
I am alwasy looking for ideas like this since I travel and camp off my motorcycles. When my camp is set up I still have all my riding gear to try to keep dry and out of the way. But instead of nice light hiking boots my riding boots are almost knee high and a couple of pounds each. Then jackt and pants which are more like fire fighters bunker gear plus a helmet. All bullky and heavy.
Love seeing how people make thing that solve there own problems. But many times it just shows me problems I did not even know I have.

Why didn't I think of that?

Ha - that's awesome. I'm headed to the attic right now to see if I have any of those laying around.

I've always hated how my boots somehow migrate to just out of reach during the night - and they get splash on/in them during the rain - same goes for my pack.

You just inspired me to actually do something about it. Worst case I'll make a gear hammock out of some leftover Marpat but I definitely like your re appropriation of gear that might otherwise not see any use at all.

    Outstanding!

This is why I love bringing a camp chair along. I keep my boots up off the ground at night, but under the tarp. If I ever do away with the chair, I'll have to make some of these.
