How often do you recommend I should repeat a "for sale" item? My item isnt moving after posting twice but feel confident it will eventually. Thanx, Bill

you could always bump your sale up every 2 weeks instead of starting a new thread. I have scanned for sale items for months and found a cookpot I wanted. Luckily the seller still had it
'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain
Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
How do I "bump" ? Just paste and copy the previous post?
Just paste and copy to bump?
Just add a reply to your existing thread such as "bump" or "still available" to bump it to the top of the first page.
I agree. And, if it's overdone, 'bumping' can be a turn-off. (But, IMO, much much better to bump - when allowed, and it is allowed here at HF- than to post a new thread with the same old copy.)
More pictures, lower price and shipping (with extra amount specified, or specified as 'actual postage, no handling charge') OUTSIDE the USA are all attractions for me.
HF is a pretty easy place to sell gear - I'm amazed at the stuff folks buy here (used boots and hats, used water bottles and hydration stuff, etc..).
