    Old beat up bridge

I Am looking to buy an old beatup bridge hammock to use as a refferance and or model to build myself a heavy duty one.
I Am a large guy and they dont make one that will hold me so if someone has an old ripped up or torn wbrr or jrb bridge that is just collecting dust and wants to get rid of it for a couple of bucks please let me know,
Easier for me to copy it with heavier duty parts and fabric than to start from scratch.
Any shape at a reasonable price would be greatly apreciated, i have made my own diy gathered end but after looking at the bridge hammocks at the fall hang i have GOT to have one, please help!

Have you taken a look at the instructions in the DIY section for the Grizz Bridge (4 part video). First time through the instructions can be a little intimidating but it's really not that difficult.

The previous posters are right... I've made several bridge hammocks off of his videos.

I Am gonna give it a shot, where did you get the rest of the hardware for it, i know where to get the fabric but not the rest of it, any ideas on where to reinforce it to upgrade it for a heavy guy?

He doesn't use hardware for the pole connectors. I however worked with Dutch to make me some custom hardware.

I just had an idea and I don't know if it would be worth doing or if it would work.

My idea is for the pole connectors. What if you take a big metal washer and wrap it in thin grosgrain ribbon. Wrapping it would protect the hammock from the metal and you could also leave a piece of the ribbon hanging off of each side to be able to sew it onto the hammock.
