I bought this a short while back and just have not had time to go through the learning curve on this unit. I'd rather sell it and use that money for gear that won't mock me from the gear table.

Offering up to forum members first. $225 shipped CONUS. First I'll take it will find themselves...with a great GPS unit.

Package includes: Delorme Earthmate PN60 GPS unit; Topo 9.0 software; PN series maps for Canada, Southwest US and Mexico, Northwest US, Northeast US and Southeast US; TWO USB cords; and an assortment of RAM bicycle and suction mounts. Unit is brand new and used around the house and one geocache very close by the house.

One and only price drop. $195 shipped CONUS. You will not find a better deal on this quality of GPS anywhere on EBAY not to mention the extra USB cord and bike and car mounts. I'll keep it open until Friday then it's by by birdie.

The question has been asked if a subscription is required: The answer is no. You can sign up for additional maps and services but the CDs have all the topo maps needed to use this unit as is.

There have been those who have this unit and have added the subscription (I think it's like $30) and have said it was worth the extras they paid.

That is a very nice package. If did not already have one I would get it. They work particularly well when blended with a laptop. I have also used the package including the laptop in my truck as a trial for other things. Then it acts as a receiver for the laptop screen.
