Over Hell for Sure and back

Hey guys sorry about the delay on the trip report. The end of last month be and a friend took a backpacking trip out to the Sierras. We got out there on September 26th and was met with this
We decided to drop elevation and camp for the night and start hiking the next day and the weather was great

We hiked in from Courtright Reservoir

    To Fleming Lake
The next day we were over Hell for Sure Pass

    Into Goddard Canyon

Camped next to the head waters of the San Joaquin River

We took a trip up to Martha Lake

Then packed up and hiked back over the Pass

To the North Fork of Kings River

For a long 28 mile day it was nice to setup the ol hammock.

We hiked back to the car the next morning thru some large trees you just don't get to see back east.

Thanks for the info from MountainManMike this made a great trip into the Sierras
Here's a link for some of the pics

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

Yeah the trees were huge I usually come in on the east side where the trees are a lot smaller.
