To Any Administrators or Modarators,
I cannot access Hammockforums.net from my home computer. I first noticed the problem last Monday or Tuesday (10/21 or 10/22) not sure exactly when. When I attempt to connect the connection times out. It does not matter if I'm using IE or Firefox, same result. I am using Comcast cable ISP. I can connect from work OK (a different ISP) and I can connect from my Blackberry over 3g. I can even connect through a proxy server. When using a netwiork trace utility the connection seems to stall out at the hammockforums.net Colo4 host server at IP 206.123.103.86. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I updated Firefox somewhere around the same time. Comcast can't (or won't) help since I am getting internet service OK. I don't know if Comcast did something different (perhaps with a proxy server?). Did I somehow get blocked by the host server? I've already done all the other fix attempts like clearing the DNS cache, etc. I don't think the problem is not on my end. I can send you my IP but is is not static it varies within the DHCP range of Comcast's IP adresses depending on when I power up my home network. Having to go through a proxy server is a pain everytime I want to visit Hammockforums from home. Can you Help?
