    Yeti slipping

    Hi folks

Every night, I keep pulling my yeti UQ back down to my shoulders. Is there some trick or a quick and easy way to lock it in one place? I was thinking something as simple as a bulldog clip, but I can't seem to find a titanium version

Edit: LOL I stand corrected! Titanium clothes pegs! http://www.exquisitescotland.com/merchandise/k-pegs/

It's not titanium but these Dutch Clip On Quilt Hooks do the job really well.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

Is it the UQ slipping or is it you that is slipping. I find sometimes in my BB with my Yeti that I go to sleep with the UQ in the right position and then I find later on in the night that it seems the UQ has migrated up. I figured out that I was the one moving. I would look at my feet and see that I have slipped into the footbox. I just raise the foot end half a foot and I stay in place and so does the UQ. Just a possibility I find happens to me.

You know Bubba I think you nailed it. Tree selection in Frontenac wasn't great and I don't think I paid attention to the height of my foot section. I guess I'll use a bulldog clip on myself

I hope this was your issue. Let us know.

It's hard sometimes to set up the proper levels on uneven ground. Short of bringing a level I rely on my eye and the quick sit in while setting up but of course I'm ocassionally off. What also ends up happening as the day goes on is you hang out with your friends or do other fun things and you do not bother to go and adjust everything properly and then you just go to bed.

The problem I had was there were only 2 trees suitable and they were fairly far apart. I had to reach up as far as I could with the tree straps just to keep my Yeti off the ground.

Yup. Down seems to stuff down to the smallest bulk. Maybe Dutch can invent something better?
