Props and Hats Off to UGQ!!

Just got my Flight Jacket 40* TQ today in and it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It came with a stuff sack and imagine my surprise when I found a UGQ fleece hat down inside the bag.

That's absolutely the best customer service I have ever experienced. The quilt is in a deep purple and looks fantastic with the charcoal gray interior. lofty and soft and I can't wait to try it out. Oh yeah! the Texas Fall Hang is coming up in two short weeks and the temps aught to be juussst right for it.

I'm waiting for my 20* to be made... Patiently I might add...

It will be worth the wait my friend. thing is, I didn't know that it would come with little triangle hooks that you can use to make it into a UQ if needed. There isn't any additional suspension at the ends, but you could easily slide some shock cord into the end channels. There's also a top button and draw cord so you can put it around your neck. I'm absolutely in love with this quilt.

You can even thank UGQ in person. They are making the trip to hang with us in Texas. How cool is that?

A fional note. I was indeed able ot meet and thank in person both Paul and Missy. Great people to not only deal with, but to just visit with. I got a chance to use the FJ at the Fall Hang and it was superb! Temps got down to the upper 40s and I was quite toasty wearing just my undies and a pair of socks. I also had on a pair of second layer cold weather long johns, but really didn't need them. With a 20* 3/4 UQ (which I'm probably going to sell and upgrade to a Zepplin 20* full length), I was not feeling the cold.

Again, great company, great people and great product!

I was at the same place... And on Friday morn it was 55 and I slept without the top quilt in khakis and a t shirt... I was amazed at how warm you could be without a top quilt... The superfly cutting the wind helped as well...
