Cool thing about WL is if you want custom built gear.
It's just a call/email away.
I've had that discussion with Marty recently and the shock cords at each end are designed to deal with drafts. I've not had any issue with my WL UQ, which is very well made. I'm about to order a new 3/4 UQ from Marty. But as flatline suggested, it's easy to reach Marty by phone or email and he's always responsive.

The only problem about calling Marty is...
...he's so darned friendly and nice, you end up on the phone with him far longer than you planned!
Seriously...if I ever head out that way, I've GOT to meet him in person and buy him a Mountain Dew!
Agreed - I ordered a UQ last night. He is really excellent to work with and can bang out customized gear amazingly fast. Can't wait for next week...
