Where do you get your Silnylon?

That does not sound like a good idea to me. I would leave the streak alone and call it a character mark.

I have no intention of picking it off. I will say that it truly seems to be extra silicone on the surface. The back side of the nylon looks completely normal so the silicone appears impregnated just like the rest of the fabric. It appears to be completely cosmetic....and even that is not bad.

My order of 25 yards of silnylon 3rds arrived yesterday (fast shipping!) It has streaks of silicone running lengthwise intermittently- about an eighth of an inch wide. These are present the full length of the fabric. They hardly show on the other side. At one end (I got it all in one piece) the last foot has more silicone giving a mottled appearance but still useable. I am pleased. It was a pleasure doing business with Dave at Oware.

I received my 3rds today. 15, 6, and 4 of grey, 2 heavy brown and 1 heavier bright yellow. After some figuring and puzzle piece placing I can get 2 hex tarps and and one winter tarp out of the grey. I'll use the yellow for reinforcement pieces, should look kind of cool. Now to get yellow thread and zing it. I'll have plenty of new sil stuff sacks.
