Where do you get your Silnylon?

So I decided on the design of my hammock and tarp but I'd like to make the tarp from silnylon. My plan is to make a 8' by 10' flat tarp does any one know if you can get a piece of sil about that size? or perhaps 2 4'x10' pieces? I would like to get away with out a middle seam though. Any ideas?

I've never seen any that wide - IIRC the widest was 64".

There are some deals on eBay also for rectangular tarps.

Noah Lamports is good also but you have to call to see what they have. The sell sil for hot air balloons and parachutes so they might have larger sizes.

Ok so no results so far though I have found that Walmart sells sil from old posts I've been going through so I'll check there. From what I understand I'll have to test and see if it frays or not right

Don't buy the walmart stuff... Noah Lamports sales 2nds and for someone just starting to make tarps, they are cheap enough to mess up a few times... and their sil even though 2nds, is good stuff... 2) http://www.owfinc.com/ sales 1st and 2nds in Sil... 3) http://diygearsupply.com/ 4) http://bearpawwd.com/ and the list goes on... Most Sil is 60" to 66" wide I believe,,,close to that anyway...
Just sew it down the middle and seamseal it...
I prefer to make my tarps 11' long... I hate getting wet...

Any reason why not to get the Walmart stuff? I had seen threads and it seemed as though is was not bad from those. Of course they were older threads though. Just trying to learn not arguing though would that apply to the Walmart ripstop too?

Ok I wouldn't be surprised it is walmart after all lol. I was kinda thinking about trying out making my own sil like in that sticky but I'm not sure it depends on how lazy I feel when I get ripstop for my hammock
