Send pic's once done.... Thank you
I have slept in a hammock on every continent from -20 to +128, under direct and indirect fire, from frost to fungus except Antarticia.... But give me time... Thank you Uncle Sugar!
The OP was three years ago but I will comment to others. Good idea about the ridge pole to have the pull weight not on any portion of the trailer wall. For non-backpacking hangs, a hanger can use cam buckle straps (must be doubled or tripled for safety on the weaker buckles) threaded through continuous loops (CL) on the ends of the hammocks, since your distance from the anchor is short, it is the same there every night, and you don't need much length since the strap is not going around a tree. Even if you use the end of the whoopie to gather the end of the hammock fabric, you could have a CL in the same position, ready for a short span.My whoopies prevented me from getting the set up short enough to hang it right, but was close enough to sleep in.
Edit: I use cam buckle straps indoors, and whoopies outdoors due to the variable distances between trees.
