I'd love to make it to this hang, it is my daughter's 18th birthday, so I'm going to have to get her to accept such a wonderful gift before I can confirm (she loves the hammock, so maybe...).

Any good recommendations for winter camping in/around Big Bear, maybe snow shoe in? Any trails from backside of lifts, or is that all off-limits?

check out the Skyline Trail...above Snow Summit. GREAT hanging options up there.
