    Ga> Springer Mt>New Years Eve Hang

    Do people still show up for this hang?

    Haven't heard anyone mention it in a while. I used to go up to Tray Mountain to watch the fireworks from the local towns below. Great views of meteor showers too.
    Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

    I went about 5 years ago, there were about a dozen people. Marta and her husband were there, and a hammocker, Diamond Digs; can't recall other names. One guy was starting his thru next morning.

    This sounds a bit interesting, might just have to try this out, haven't been to Springer in quite a while. Hope the weather is cold enough to keep meat from spoiling, I can almost smell that wood fire grilled whatever.

    In the past we've just used the Springer lot but folks have been known to come in from the approach trail.
    Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!
