Directionally challenged...comicly so.
Not all who wonder are lost...But I'm probably just lost.
You talking about Yellowwood St Forest?? ...or Panther Creek in IL, near Springfield?
The road to success is always under construction.

It is at the end of the Tecumseh Trail. Off Crooked Creek Road to the parking area a mile or so South of Crooked Creek Lake. When you get to the end of the trail (there's a sign that says "End of the Tecumseh Trail") follow the creek downstream a ways and you are on Hoosier National Forest Property and can camp anywhere. Mule shared the place with a lot of us and could probably send you a map.
You could almost certainly talk Mule into meeting you there. If I have my UQ by then, I might join along.
Careful!! Paint might get ya lost!
when you get to the sign downstream is to the right, hard to tell when there's no water
I might be able to join ya, sounds like a good time.
I would like to come but have an early xmas get together that Saturday. Panther Creek is on my list to try though!
I might be able to make it. Will have to see as the time gets closer.
Panther Creek is a really nice spot, I would love to join you guys but not really equipped for winter hanging conditions
