    Rigging a Tadpole Suggestion

I used my new Tadpole for 6 nights this past week. I didn't have time to seam seal the pull-outs or the ridgeline before I used the tarp. I spent about two days in torrential downpours. Not a single drop!!!!!!!!!!! Stayed dry the whole time.
I would like to ask for suggestions. I used two of the Dutch wasps on each end of the tarp to secure to trees with the Zing-it. I attached the two 10' pieces of Zing-it to the two tarp loops with a larkshead. When I went to tear down, it was extremely difficult to undo the Zing-it larkshead from the tarp. I didn't want to leave the wasps attached to the tarp as I was afraid of inadvertently poking a whole in the tarp even though the wasps are very smooth. Any suggestions on a good, fast way to attach the Zing-it to the tarp loops?
    Thanks in advance,
    HH

What about larksheadin it to a dutchbiner and then clipping that to the tarp. Or make a locked brummel and slip that on the dutchbiner? Thats all I have so far. I'll keep thinking about it.

I use stingerz on mine, or loop aliens. More often than not the stingerz are left clipped to the tarp, with the remaining line stuffed in the pocket of my snake skins. I put the tarp back in it's stuff sack with the RL ends on top, might be an option with your wasps to minimize the chance of perforating your tarp.

Dutch ridgeline biners between the tarp loop and the zing-it? See: http://dutchwaregear.com/dutch-ridgeline-biners.html. I use tarp flyz (the predecessor to the wasps) and never have felt that I have to disconnect the lines from the tarp when packing it.

what timing as I just was figuring out what to do with my new tadpole. I have stingerz locked brommmeled to 15' to zing it. I am not sure I like the idea of taking it off and on the loop so was thinking of making a small continuous loop through the loop (zingit), then just clip on and off that. I can make 3" loops so not that big or added weight. I don't normally disconnect anyways..., now I am thinking again...

I leave my tarp flyz and line on the tarp. They've been on there for over a year with no problems.

Thanks to all. Maybe I am over worrying about puncturing the tarp and I should just leave the wasps attached. I've never used used the Dutch Flyze or the Stingerz, but those wasps sure are great!
