    Spindrift question(s)

Just bought a used RR and LOVE IT!! I'm a DIY guy, but I may not go back to my greenbrean. Anyway, looking at using the RR this winter and wondering if the Spindrift comes with double doors or if one could be custom made?

Also, wondering if there is anyone who is looking to sell one they may not be using ?

    Happy Hanging,
    Bill

    Spindrift question(s)

I believe that the spindrift is only one sided. I could be completely wrong in this but I am sure if I am someone else who has one will let us know. I have one on order and hoping to get it soon.

The Spindrift is one-sided (Right side).

    Hope that helps.

$25 extra for second door on Spindrift

Brandon charged me $25 extra to put in the second door on the Spindrift. Don't have it yet. Not sure it is worth having that second door though. Because when you use a sock, you kind of expect to be completely enclosed, right? Am thinking that the flexibility of being able to get in/out on either side might be valuable. We'll see.

    double doors

Brandon at Warbonnet will do double doors on a spindrift. Doors on both sides makes a huge difference. Doubles your view and ventilation.

I modified mine with screen doors on both sides for use with a RR
with out a net. I use my Spindrift year round and love it.

Jokerrs screen door mod has to be one of the best RR mods I have seen to date.

Not to stray to much here but Jokerr why did you add the screens to the outside of the SD? I have my thought on advantages both for the screen to be on the outside of the original doors and on the inside...just curious what made that decision for you?

Just make sure if you get the stock single door and have a preferred side of getting into the hammock you let Warbonnet know before ordering.

I did this mod a few weeks ago------it makes a huge difference in ventilation--and seems so roomy inside! (its really not all that hard to do your self, I did it in an afternoon! ---but problably worth paying brandon 25 dollers to do it right!) I am very impressed with this set up and I will be on the lookout for a no net rr in the future! (I also took it a step further, but am not ready to go public with the mod yet---needs more testing!)

FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.
