It was a great weekend of kicking off hanging for my family's camping season. It was fun to share it with yall, meeting so many new ppl and catching up with the "old" ones

Ok, a week after this dietary disaster, I went to the Blue Ridge mountains and attempted to undo the damage done. I kayaked the south fork of the Shenendoah River, thanks OldPappy, I hiked, I trout fished in hard to get to places and I brought minimal food with me.
The third day out, I came back to my hammock to find a little girl asking me "do you have any bug spray?" Apparently, the new family, setting up next door, had neglected bug spray so I gave them mine. Half an hour later, as I was about refitted to go out for my evening hike, I find the little girl and her brother are back at my site wanting me to come over to their site. It seems their folks were busily cooking up a feast to rival Smoked Butt!!!
Crap! Two weekends in a row!!!!
