Is there a limit to folks going? Looks like there will be a good size group. I am not sure if I will make it but I would like to. Any one going paddling? Thinking I might drag the canoe along aswell.

I've been meaning to try out hammock camping for a while, and just had a chance on a 4 day trip last week. I currently have a Trek Light hammock, which I like, although I've been having issues with leg hyperextension. I would really like to move up to a nicer hammock (built-in bug net, double-layer for inserting insulation, etc.), and am considering the WBBB, the WBRR, and the Dangerbird. I can't camp out the whole weekend because I have a commitment on Saturday, but could I stop by and see people's hammocks? I'd love to see how you experienced folks are hanging yours, and maybe a kind soul will let me try theirs out. I've heard especially with the bridge hammocks that you should really try one in person to see whether they work for you. I live in Raleigh, so I'm right in the neighborhood and it would be easy for me to pop over.
We love to show off our gear and let people try it out! Please come join us for whatever amount of time you can.

Hello folks,
After having such a great time at my first group hang (Merchants Mill Pond) I would hate to miss another opportunity to meet some fellow hangers... so close to home. It looks like you have a good crowd signed up so far. I'd love to throw my name on the sheet as well if you folks aren't all booked up yet. I'm also open to any suggestions for items that may still be needed.

For the last six weeks, I have been working as much as the government will allow. I need this. I enjoy making my StubbyQ, breakfast fatties, and smoked chili. I enjoy camping, and new friends.......and some one mentioned mountain bikes. I'm in, however, this being my first hang........Where do I take my moneys, and what is the pet situation? Or have I missed all that in earlier posts?
Catavarie is hosting and Chigger secured the reservation for the site, so see them about any moneys. Pets are welcome. Max had a great time last year.
