    Appalachian Hammock?

    Howdy everyone,

I stumbled across Appalachian Hammock today and was curious if anyone has any previous experience with them? They seem to sell just two hammocks and a tarp but they seem like good quality.

You might try a search in the Other Vendors forum...AppalachianHammock has been a HF member for a couple of years. They are also starting a site to sell fabrics... http://ripstopbytheroll.com/

I own 2 Appalachian hammocks a DL (wife) and an original for myself I cant compare them against others but the quality, service and price I'm very happy. on top of which they are made in the USA and Id rather keep my $$ local than sending them overseas.

I have never used one, but I have seen them and met the makers. They look like good solid gear.

Hey Cazador, if you have any questions about anything don't hesitate to let us know. We're more than happy to help. In addition to the current hammocks/tarp we have, we're also excited to finally be getting our first run of bugnets in on Monday . What are you looking for exactly?

Also thanks for the complements everyone. We certainly appreciate it!

I've got one, they are very good nice weather hammocks; But in bad weather, I think the length (11 ft) can be a bit troublesome to keep it completely out of the rain.
