    Kids Hammocks for Gifts

Hey guys. Really digging this site. Just started hanging and now I want to show all my friends and relatives.
Thinking of making my nieces/nephews (ranging from age 5-10yo) hammocks for Christmas. I'm looking for the most economical way to do it, and the simplest suspension methods.
I've watched the DIY vids on table cloth hammocks and wondering if they might be bigger than necessary. Shower curtains? What should I be concerned about with materials?
For suspension what would be the easiest hook ups that the oldest kids can learn? Maybe 1" Harbour Freight tree straps with chain loops and a home depot spring clip on the hammock?
    Thanks for any advice.

The WMT poly shower curtains are perfect for this. No sew - already hemmed.
Gather the ends, tie them off, add 8" continuous loops and hang from a tie down strap. You can leave the length adjustment attached if you want, otherwise the marlin spike hitch is easy to learn. Cinch buckles work the best for them if you want to spend a few more $$$.

Made two for my youngest grand kids for their parents group camping outings. The hammocks are rarely ever empty, the kids love them.

Thanks. That looks perfect. Any idea what weight the shower curtains will hold? Wondering what happens if multiple kids get in, or if their parents decide to test it out?

The last adult to use one was 240# & he slept for three hours. Said he couldn't believe it when he woke up late in the day.
Kids will get into them three or four at a time.
