I always enjoy hanging with the Rat Pack and this was no exception. Loved the stand, the fellowship, Frisbee in the dark as well as day, campfire conversations, playing with fire, and friendship.

Thanks for being the man of action that you are and beating me to the punch with some great pics!

    Homecoming

Five, and counting. The Texas hang is a trail blaze on each year's trip around the sun. Thanks to all of you.

Re: Texas Fall Group Hang 2013

Awesome weekend... My highlight had nothing to do with hammocks though... I got to play Indiana Jones for a little bit!!!

Other than that the rest of the weekend was as expected, great friends, too much food, laughing so much your face hurts, laughing so much you lose your voice, realizing some people can't handle their liquids, checking out dozens and dozens of set ups, helping out some new friends, and realizing no one on this forum is sane... I wouldn't have it any other way...

Great weekend. It was cool to see so many new hangers. Great food and good company, the weather was pretty much perfect. Couldn't ask for a better weekend.

    Thanks UncleMike

It just keeps getting better. Year 5 is in the books and was spectacular. The best yet. Too many people to thank and too many memories to post here. I could write a book!

Thanks to all. See you next year!

    Agreed, agreed, agreed.

Also, I'm looking forward to seeing those HammEck pics you took too, so how about that before you write the book.

Better yet, maybe a new thread doing a new product review. I know that we liked what we saw and the comments would be good for others to know.

Yeah that was my third and definitely not my last. Thanks to Caveman for lending us a hammock so my son Greg could get the feel for it. I would say by his snoring he slept well, but that boy could probably sleep on a burning freight train as it went off a cliff.
It was, as others have said, great to see old friends and make new ones.
Thanks to UncleMJM as always for all you do. Thanks to those silent partners that don’t get as much notoriety but are an integral a part of organizing and facilitating this event as well.
