    Finally!

I finally got a chance to spend two nights out in my hammock. Since this would be my first overnight in a hammock and it was not at home where I could bail, I was apprehensive but all turned out well. My WBBB XLC was comfortable. I am not normally a back sleeper but slept quite well both nights. Only thing that really woke me totally were the coyotes that ran right through camp both nights. Noisy little beasts. My biggest concern was not getting my new Incubator adjusted properly and having issues with the cold. No need to worry. With the temp the first night at 31, I slept like a bug in a rug, Snug. I have said it before but it should be repeated. Thanks to Brandon, Adam and Jenny, and Dutch who made all the equipment I have purchased so far. All high quality stuff you can bet your life on. Thanks also to Shug for the terrific videos. I don't see how you can watch them and not hammock camp comfortably from the beginning. And finally thanks to HF and all the contributing members for great posts and information. You all have taken a complete ground and RV dweller and in just a few short months made a confident hammock camper.

Glad to hear that it worked out for you. I still tend to roll around in my hammock when I sleep, but I'm also still much more comfy than when I'm on the ground.

And now that you've gotten past the initial "holy crap, is this going to work?" phase, you can start having some real fun.

    - Nonsense. You only say that because no one ever has.
