we are going to brave the elements. as soon as I get paid I'm headed out with the family.
It's supposed to stop raining around 8 or so as long as I can keep the gear dry we'll be ok
It's not the fall im scared of, it's the sudden stop at the end!!!

Be careful out there. My family south of Asheboro reports widespread power outages and slick roads. 400,000 people without power due to downed trees according to Duke Energy (Fox 8 Greensboro Highpoint).

I'm going to come Saturday instead of tonight.
See you all then.
It's raging here -- and it looks like it's gonna be raging all the way there. Good luck, guys.

Now Y'all are making it hard for me to decide when to leave and drive down. I drove to town a while ago and the roads are a mess. I might just wait another hour or so before leaving. I'm gonna try calling Pappy Amos.
Bonepile let us know what you hear.
In part my decision is I've been under the weather.
Just talked to Firebird. Pappy is leaving his eggs and stuff with Firebird, who will bring them to Yates in the morning. Pappy couldn't find a Motel room empty due to power outages. I am going to leave home early tomorrow and plan to get to Yates by 8:30 or so. Weather is going to be wonderful tomorrow.
Chigger had a bad leak and slept in his car and went home today.
I just arrived and found the place empty, check the forums and see things have gone sideways shortly after I left the house. Now trying to decide if I should just head back home. It is certainly a mess here.
