Now Y'all are making it hard for me to decide when to leave and drive down. I drove to town a while ago and the roads are a mess. I might just wait another hour or so before leaving. I'm gonna try calling Pappy Amos.

Pappy advised he was heading to a hotel in troy. He was worried about the food. I told him not to hang arround for some eggs. We would make it.

I also wont make it tonight. Its my sons birthday tomorrow and he doesnt much like the wet stuff. He says he doesnt want to go tonight. My wife also doesnt want me go. If it wasnt his birthday I would have just said for him to stay here and I would go.

I would be hoping to head out early tomorrow, but we will see what happens.

Well, Pappy Amos is heading back to Carolina Beach. He just left my house and dropped off the food for tomorrow's breakfast. I'll be up there between 8 and 8:30 in the morning and drop it off. He left my tarp covering the firewood so if nobody is there yet (and assuming the tarp and wood has not walked off) I'll leave the eggs and such under the tarp. Visionarylion should be there unless his plans change. It's been a mess but is supposed to clear out.

After heavy discussions me and emerson will be packed up and leave here early in the morning. I am hoping to be on site by 8 or 830. Anyone know what time the el dorado shop is open?

There is officially sunshine at Yates Place. Rain has stopped just a cold breeze knocking drops out of the trees.

Would have loved to post pics of the forecast 3" - 5" of snow, but the snow chase didn't pan out. Hope the gold chase pans out better for you guys that make it out.
