I seen some pics of some gold that's been found in UNF the past few days and it is definitely there. I just hope to find enough to at least pay for my new Dutch bling that arrived the other day. LOL. I'm ready to try out some of the Pack It Gourmet goodies too. Looks like a good crowd that's going to be there.

so would you all laugh at a new guy if he showed up to this hang and broke out a blue utility tarp? This is basicly a car camping event right? Meaning no worries about the weight/bulk of a blue tarp. I am planning to get a superfly but it is likely not going to happen before the hang. Might just sleep under the stars without a tarp if the weather looks good and set up my tent close by in case it gets wet.

My first hang I brought a tent. So yea, don't worry about the big blue tarp.

The snow doesnt bother me but the hot cold hot cold hot cold messes up my sinuses. I actually would like camp in the snow. I wish this last storm hit on a friday. I would have been hanging.

I'm trying to work it out so I can make this hang. It's not next weekend but the following one, right?
